our day of fun

Finley sat and played on the floor while I did some cleaning in the kitchen. He sat and scooted around playing with lids throwing them or pushing them away and trying to get them.

He's sitting so good now. I still don't leave him alone while he's sitting, but he is learning how to get back onto his belly from the sitting position.



We just got a package in the mail today from Bama and Paka (Grandma and Grandpa Norberg) with a battery operated horse that walks and then stops and swishes its tail and moves its head up and down. Finley liked it at first when it was far away, but as it got closer he started getting a little scared. He ended up just watching it move all around him...at a distance. Thanks Bama and Paka!

Finely was lying on the bed in his room this morning and slid backwards off the bed and landed on his feet. (I was right there the whole time and was ready to catch him if he fell backwards.) He stood holding onto the bed and then walked about 3/4 of the way across the bed while holding on. This video was taken when Matthew was home for lunch. He stood there, but wouldn't walk anymore. We'll try to get that on video soon.
