Finley has had a hard time with naps lately. He will sometimes sleep for 10 minutes, wake up, and not go back down for hours. Other times he will sleep for 30 to 40 minutes, wake up and then go back to sleep right away for another hour or so. He took a 20 minute nap this morning and has been fussy and tired since. He finally went to sleep after lunch. I went in to check on him during his nap and this is how he was sleeping. Every once in awhile his fingers would move like he was picking something up but other than that, this is how he stayed almost his entire nap...about 45 minutes. I guess he was really desperate for sleep!
Sometimes, if I need 5 minutes to do laundry or start supper I'll give Finley a bottle of apple juice. It's actually not even apple juice because its 1 ounce of apple juice and 4 ounces of water. It's really watered down. Anyways, this is the only "sweet" thing that he's had (besides the ice cream I caught Matthew giving him) and he loves it. He makes cute little noises and plays with the bottle the whole time.
