On Saturday we went up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see Chad, Alana (my cousin) and their daughter, Holland. It was great to see them all again as it had been over a year since I had seen them last. Holland has grown up so much and is such a sweet and smart little girl. She kept calling Finley her "little buddy". I was changing Finley in the living room and Holland came in wanting to help. She handed me the wipes and the diapers and then when we were finished she called him "little tyke". It was so cute. Alana is due in April and I know Holland will be a big help with their new baby.

After visiting for a couple of hours, Chad, Alana and Holland headed out for West Virginia for Christmas and the rest of us headed out for the beach. It was supposed to be about 3-1/2 hours away; however, we got really bad directions from Mapquest and after taking 3 or 4 U-turns we got there after 5 hours of traveling. What a long day that ended up being. The kids were upset, hungry, tired and everyone just wanted to be there. It was well worth it, though!
